Post by : Bianca Haleem

Dubai, UAE, July 21, 2026: Great Wall Motor (GWM) has taken a major step forward in its Middle East expansion strategy with the opening of its new flagship showroom in the United Arab Emirates. The newly launched facility is the largest GWM showroom outside China, highlighting the company’s growing regional presence and long-term commitment to customers across the GCC.

The opening represents a significant milestone for GWM as the automotive brand continues to invest in premium retail experiences, advanced mobility solutions and a stronger customer support network across the Middle East.

GWM Records Strong Growth Across Middle East Market

The launch comes at a time when GWM is experiencing strong business growth in the region. The company has achieved 42% year-on-year growth across the Middle East, supported by rising demand for its expanding range of SUVs, pickup trucks and new-energy vehicles.

Over recent years, GWM has rapidly strengthened its footprint across the GCC region by expanding its sales and aftersales network. The brand currently operates through 95 showrooms and 93 service workshops across the GCC, developed in partnership with some of the region’s leading automotive distributors.

This growing network aims to provide customers with a complete ownership experience, from vehicle purchase and maintenance support to long-term customer service.

UAE Flagship Showroom Offers Complete GWM Experience

The newly opened flagship facility has been designed to offer customers more than a traditional vehicle showroom. Built according to GWM’s latest global retail standards, the showroom provides an interactive environment where visitors can explore the company’s vehicles, technologies and future mobility solutions.

The showroom brings together GWM’s three major vehicle brands under one roof, including:

  • TANK premium SUVs
  • HAVAL urban SUV range
  • POER pickup series

Visitors can explore more than 10 models, showcasing GWM’s expanding portfolio designed to meet the diverse needs of Middle Eastern customers.

GWM Focuses on Customer-Centric Mobility Solutions

Speaking about the showroom launch, Sunny Bhat, Chief Operating Officer of GWM Middle East, said that the new facility reflects the company’s strong commitment to the region.

“The Middle East continues to be one of GWM’s most important markets, and the opening of one of our largest overseas showrooms outside China demonstrates our long-term commitment to the region,” Bhat said.

He added that the showroom has been created as a complete destination where customers can experience the brand, explore its vehicles and receive support throughout their ownership journey.

According to GWM, the facility represents the company’s focus on placing customers at the centre of its operations while building trust and confidence through quality products and services.

GWM Continues GCC Expansion Plans

As part of its long-term growth strategy, GWM plans to continue expanding its presence across the GCC with additional investments in infrastructure, technology and customer services.

The company aims to strengthen its position in the Middle East by introducing advanced new-energy vehicle technologies, expanding its vehicle lineup and developing world-class retail experiences.

With the Middle East becoming an increasingly important market for global automotive growth, GWM remains focused on delivering intelligent, reliable and accessible mobility solutions for customers across the region.

The opening of the UAE flagship showroom marks another major milestone in GWM’s journey to become a leading automotive brand in the Middle East.
