ICO Team Visits Somaliland to Review Ongoing Charity Projects

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

A delegation from the International Charity Organisation (ICO), led by Secretary-General Dr. Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, has started an official visit to Somaliland to review several humanitarian projects carried out for low-income families, orphans and patients. The visit reflects the organisation’s goal of expanding its work across Africa and increasing support for communities in need. It also aims to strengthen efforts that promote social stability and improve the lives of vulnerable groups.

During the visit, the ICO team will conduct field inspections to evaluate the real conditions of struggling families and understand their most urgent requirements. Dr. Al Khaja said that the assessments will help identify areas that need immediate assistance, especially for people facing serious health challenges and lacking basic support. The organisation will also look into ways to improve existing programs and launch new projects that can provide long-term benefits.

This mission highlights the ICO’s commitment to delivering effective humanitarian aid and ensuring that resources reach those who need them the most. By gathering accurate information on community needs, the organisation aims to enhance the impact of its charity initiatives, improve coordination with local partners, and ensure sustainable development. The visit is expected to help the ICO build stronger community support networks and expand its presence in regions that require urgent social assistance.
