Iran has released images and video showing recovered military equipment from the 2026 conflict, including a largely intact Israeli Hermes 900 drone and wreckage linked to a US F-15 fighter jet.
The material was displayed at a private aerospace exhibition, where Iranian authorities presented the recovered equipment as part of efforts to examine foreign military technology.
Israeli Hermes 900 Drone Under IRGC Examination
The Israeli Hermes 900 drone was reportedly shot down through electronic warfare. The aircraft is now being examined by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), with Iranian reports saying the inspection is intended to support efforts to study and reverse-engineer its technology.
The relatively intact condition of the drone has allowed Iranian personnel to examine its components and design.
US F-15 Wreckage Also Displayed
The exhibition also featured cockpit remains and an ejection seat from a US F-15 fighter jet that was reportedly downed in April 2026.
In addition to the F-15 wreckage, the display included parts recovered from several MQ-9 Reaper drones.
Iran Links Intercepts to New Air Defence Systems
Iranian reports have attributed the interception of the aircraft and drones to new air defence systems that were used during the early stages of the 2026 conflict.
The exhibition highlights Iran’s efforts to examine recovered foreign military equipment and study its technology for potential use in its own drone programmes.
Independent Verification Remains Limited
While some of the details surrounding the displayed equipment correspond with confirmed incidents, independent verification of all Iranian claims remains limited.
