Israeli airstrikes struck the Al-Muttaqin Mosque near the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) building in central Gaza City on Tuesday. The attack destroyed the mosque and nearby tents sheltering hundreds of displaced Palestinians.
According to reports, at least one Palestinian was killed and more than 12 others were injured in the strike. Residents in the area had received evacuation warnings before the attack, but only a short period was available for them to leave.
Reports said Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting central and northern Gaza. Despite the warnings, residents said the evacuation window was very limited.
Separate Strike Reported in Nuseirat Refugee Camp
A separate Israeli strike was reported in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
According to health officials, the attack targeted a group of Palestinians gathered in a busy market. One Palestinian was killed, while at least 20 others were injured.
Residents remain concerned about the possibility of further Israeli strikes and continue living under constant uncertainty.

Ceasefire Measure Approved
The latest strikes came days after Israel's security cabinet approved a measure that, in principle, would allow the first members of an International Stabilization Force to enter Gaza. The proposal is part of the US-brokered ceasefire that began last October.
Settler Attack Forces Family to Leave Home
In the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that eight Palestinians fled their home in Abu Najim, near Bethlehem, after Israeli settlers allegedly set the building on fire.
According to local residents, settlers also burned a vehicle and sprayed graffiti on the walls before setting the house ablaze.
Reports indicate that violence involving Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank has increased, with attacks taking place in residential areas and public spaces.
Military Orders Issued to Seize Land in Jenin
The Wafa news agency reported that Israeli authorities issued military orders to confiscate about 200 dunums (20 hectares or 49 acres) of land from towns across the Jenin governorate in the occupied West Bank.
Tareq Aghbaria, a Jenin settlement affairs official, told Wafa that land seizure orders have increased in recent days, particularly in the southern parts of the governorate, including Arrabeh, Qabatiya and Misilya.
According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, 14 military orders allocate land for the construction and expansion of military roads with a combined length of more than 11.3 kilometres (7 miles). The commission said the roads are intended to serve a network of new colonial outposts approved by the Israeli government in the governorate.
