The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released a summary of its military operations carried out over the past week, stating that its troops continued to operate simultaneously across multiple fronts to eliminate threats to the State of Israel.
According to the IDF, operations were conducted in the Northern, Southern and Central Commands, alongside continued efforts to strengthen security along Israel's eastern and western borders.
The IDF said its forces remained active inside the Security Zone in the Northern Command to address security threats.
During these operations, troops dismantled an underground terror tunnel located in the village of Majdal Zoun.
The military also stated that the Israeli Air Force carried out four precise strikes after accusing Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire agreement. According to the IDF, the strikes targeted terrorists who posed an immediate threat and hit three Hezbollah command centres.
In the Southern Command, the IDF reported dismantling underground terror tunnels with a combined length of more than one kilometre.
The military said the operations are part of an ongoing effort to locate and destroy additional tunnel routes, with particular attention on the Khan Yunis area.
The IDF also stated that approximately 20 terrorists were struck and eliminated during the week. It said those included individuals involved in rebuilding Hamas' military infrastructure as well as people it identified as having infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.
