Kenya Airways Resumes Daily Flights to Dubai

Kenya Airways Resumes Daily Flights to Dubai

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Kenya Airways has resumed its flight operations to Dubai as of Thursday, May 14, marking a return to service after a temporary pause.

On May 13, the airline announced it will start with daily flights linking Nairobi to Dubai, with intentions to increase frequency as demand dictates.

This move aims to enhance connectivity and deliver dependable travel options for passengers journeying between Kenya and the UAE.

Safety for both passengers and crew continues to be a primary focus for Kenya Airways as they resume operations. The airline is collaborating closely with aviation regulators to ensure safe and smooth flights.

This resumption follows a recent announcement from Qatar Civil Aviation Authority regarding the phased reopening of Qatar’s airspace to foreign carriers. On April 20, the authority confirmed that international flights via Hamad International Airport would resume gradually following a thorough evaluation of safety protocols.

All flight and airport operations are conducted in compliance with globally recognized safety and security standards, ensuring the protection of passengers and airport staff.

The reopening of regional flight routes is anticipated to boost travel and business between the Middle East and Africa, enhancing international connectivity.
