Saudi King Congratulates Putin on Russia National Day

Post by : Shakul

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has extended his congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia’s National Day, reaffirming the strong diplomatic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation.

In an official message sent from Jeddah, King Salman conveyed his sincere wishes for President Putin’s continued good health, happiness, and success. He also expressed his hopes for further progress, prosperity, and development for the Russian government and its people.

The congratulatory message reflects the longstanding relationship between Saudi Arabia and Russia, which has expanded significantly over the years through cooperation in various sectors including energy, trade, investment, and international diplomacy. Both countries have maintained regular dialogue on regional and global issues of mutual concern.

King Salman highlighted the distinguished relations shared by the two friendly nations and praised the joint efforts being undertaken to strengthen cooperation across multiple fields. The Kingdom continues to view Russia as an important international partner in advancing stability and economic collaboration.

Saudi Arabia and Russia have worked closely in recent years on energy market coordination, particularly through international oil production agreements, while also exploring opportunities for broader economic and strategic partnerships. These efforts have contributed to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding areas of cooperation.

The message comes as Russia marks its National Day, an occasion that celebrates the country’s sovereignty, national unity, and historical achievements. Leaders from around the world traditionally extend greetings and reaffirm diplomatic ties with Moscow during the celebration.

Observers note that the exchange of congratulatory messages between heads of state serves as an important diplomatic gesture that reinforces mutual respect and friendship between nations. Saudi Arabia’s message underscores its commitment to maintaining constructive international partnerships and promoting cooperation with key global partners.
