Kuwait Intercepts 32 Drones After Airspace Breach

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that the country's air defense systems intercepted 32 hostile drones after they entered Kuwait's airspace.

According to the ministry, the drones were detected at dawn, and the Kuwaiti Armed Forces responded immediately by engaging and intercepting them before they could continue further.

Military Spokesperson Confirms Successful Interception

Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz al-Atwan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, said the armed forces successfully tracked and intercepted all 32 drones.

He described the incident as part of Iran's "heinous aggression" targeting Kuwait.

Drone Debris Causes Property Damage

The ministry stated that fragments from the intercepted drones landed in several residential areas across the country.

The falling debris caused material damage to property. However, authorities confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported.

Armed Forces Remain on High Alert

The Ministry of Defense said the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain fully prepared to respond to any security threat.

It added that military personnel continue to perform their duties with efficiency and determination to strengthen national security and protect both citizens and residents.
