Kuwait's General Department of Criminal Investigation has conducted a joint security campaign targeting unlicensed grocery stores in the Sabahiyah area of Al Ahmadi Governorate. The operation was carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities to monitor commercial activities and enforce licensing regulations.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of four individuals reportedly working at establishments operating without the required licences. The operation was part of ongoing efforts by Kuwait's security authorities to identify unauthorised commercial activities in residential neighbourhoods.
The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition also conducted inspections in the Al Ahmadi Governorate. According to its separate announcement, inspectors identified two food establishments operating inside private residential premises without the necessary health licences.

Following the inspection, the food authority issued two violation reports against the establishments and referred the cases to the competent authorities for further legal procedures.
The joint campaign highlights coordination between Kuwait's security agencies and food inspection authorities. Such operations are intended to ensure that commercial establishments follow the country's licensing and health regulations.
Kuwait's enforcement authorities continue to monitor commercial activities and conduct inspection campaigns to improve regulatory compliance and protect consumer health and safety.
