Real Madrid Thrash Kairat 5-0 with Mbappe Hat-Trick

Real Madrid Thrash Kairat 5-0 with Mbappe Hat-Trick

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Real Madrid returned to form in style with a commanding 5-0 win over Kairat Almaty in the UEFA Champions League. The Spanish giants showed their strength after suffering a heavy 5-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid in LaLiga only days earlier. This win gave their fans confidence again and sent a strong message to rivals across Europe.

Mbappe Shines with Hat-Trick

Kylian Mbappe was the star of the night, producing a brilliant hat-trick to lift his side. The French forward now has five goals in this season’s Champions League. After the match, Mbappe expressed his joy but remained focused on the team’s bigger goals. He said that Real Madrid must learn from recent mistakes while continuing to grow stronger. He also added that while he was pleased with scoring three goals, he believed he could have scored even more.

Kairat Start with Courage

Kairat Almaty, making their debut in the Champions League, showed courage and energy at the start of the game. Despite being underdogs, they played without fear in the early minutes. However, Real Madrid’s experience and quality soon took control of the match, pushing Kairat onto the back foot and exposing defensive weaknesses.

The First Goal from the Spot

Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 25th minute after Franco Mastantuono was brought down inside the penalty box. The referee pointed to the spot, and Mbappe calmly stepped up to convert the penalty, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. This gave Real the lead and set the tone for what was to follow.

Brilliant Second Goal from Mbappe

In the second half, Mbappe doubled Real Madrid’s lead with a moment of brilliance. In the 52nd minute, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois launched a long pass that Mbappe controlled before racing towards goal. With confidence, he chipped the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper, leaving the crowd in awe. It was a goal that highlighted his speed, technique, and composure.

Completing the Hat-Trick

Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 73rd minute. Substitute Rodrygo made a dazzling run past defenders and set up Mbappe, who smashed the ball into the top corner with power and precision. The strike confirmed his dominance on the night and gave Real Madrid a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Rodrygo and Camavinga Add to the Score

Rodrygo was not just a provider for Mbappe’s third goal but also played a major role in adding to the team’s tally. In the 83rd minute, he delivered a perfect cross that found Eduardo Camavinga, who headed home to make it 4-0. The connection between Real’s young stars highlighted the depth and energy in their squad.

Brahim Diaz Seals the Victory

The night ended in style for Real Madrid when Brahim Diaz added the fifth goal in stoppage time. He finished from close range after another good build-up, sealing the dominant 5-0 win. The final whistle confirmed Real’s total control of the match and their successful recovery from the previous setback in LaLiga.

This victory places Real Madrid in a strong position in their Champions League group. Their attack looked sharp, and the team seemed focused on making a deep run in the competition. On the other hand, Kairat Almaty remain without a point in their debut Champions League campaign. While they showed flashes of courage, their defensive mistakes against an experienced side like Real Madrid proved too costly.

The win not only improved Real’s position in the group but also boosted team morale after the painful loss to Atletico. With Mbappe in top form and young players like Rodrygo and Camavinga stepping up, Real Madrid look well-prepared for upcoming challenges. Fans will hope that the team can continue this momentum both in LaLiga and Europe.
