Post by : Shakul

Nora Fatehi has added another major international achievement to her career by becoming part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 music project and opening ceremony lineup. The celebrated performer will take the stage in Toronto and contribute to the tournament’s global anthem, bringing together influences from her Moroccan heritage, Canadian upbringing and successful career in India.

Speaking about the project, Nora described the FIFA collaboration as one of the most meaningful experiences of her professional journey. She explained that the anthem, titled Siir Siir, reflects the diverse cultural influences that have shaped her identity and artistic vision over the years.

The song was created in collaboration with renowned music producer Sanjoy and French artist Vegedream. According to Nora, the goal was to create a track that feels truly global while remaining authentic to her personal story and multicultural background.

One of the highlights of the project for Nora is the strong Indian contribution behind the scenes. She praised the choreographers, dancers and creative professionals involved in the production, saying their talent helped transform the concept into a vibrant international performance.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 music initiative features an impressive lineup of international artists including Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé, Elyanna, Vegedream and Sanjoy. Several globally recognized performers are also expected to participate in various tournament-related entertainment programs.

For Nora Fatehi, the project represents a full-circle moment where music, sport and cultural diversity come together on one platform. The performance also provides an opportunity to showcase Eastern artistic influences to millions of viewers around the world during one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.

This appearance further strengthens Nora’s long-standing relationship with FIFA. After participating in celebrations linked to the Qatar World Cup in 2022, her involvement in the 2026 edition marks another significant milestone, reinforcing her status as one of the most globally recognized entertainers associated with South Asian entertainment
