Nothing Phone 3a Lite launches with Dimensity 7300 Pro and single Glyph Light

Post by : Bianca Haleem

UK consumer electronics firm Nothing has introduced the Phone 3a Lite to its Phone 3a family, positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro. The handset is already on sale in select markets; the company has not announced an India launch date.

The device features a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution (1080x2392), a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak HDR brightness. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage up to 256GB.

For imaging, the Phone 3a Lite carries a triple rear camera array headed by a 50MP main sensor, joined by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens; a 16MP front camera handles selfies. Power comes from a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and the phone holds an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Design updates include a single Glyph Light on the back, replacing the multi-LED strips used previously. The simplified Glyph still supports visual alerts for calls, notifications and camera timers.

Software is NothingOS 3.5 based on Android 15 and brings AI tools such as Essential Space, accessed via a new Essential Key for natural-language search of notes and media. Other additions include Smart Drawer for app management, Private Space and an App Locker for privacy.

Nothing has confirmed three years of Android platform updates and six years of security patches for the Phone 3a Lite, with the Android 16-based NothingOS 4 update expected in early 2026.

With its pared-back aesthetic, practical AI features and competitive pricing, the Phone 3a Lite extends Nothing's strategy to make distinctive mid-range smartphones that balance style and function.
