Oman Air Welcomes New Boeing 737 with oneworld Livery

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has celebrated the arrival of its latest Boeing 737 aircraft featuring the distinctive oneworld alliance livery. This milestone marks a new chapter in the airline’s global journey, reinforcing its commitment to expanding international connectivity and showcasing Oman’s growing presence in the global aviation sector.

The aircraft’s oneworld design symbolizes Oman Air’s partnership with the global airline alliance, which unites member carriers to enhance travel efficiency and connectivity across more than 900 destinations worldwide. The livery serves as a visual representation of Oman Air’s dedication to seamless global travel and the airline’s ambition to connect Oman with key international markets.

In a unique collaboration, Oman Air partnered with Omani artists Walid Al Hosni and Afrah Al Maamari to reimagine aviation through an artistic lens. The initiative highlights how creativity can express movement, imagination, and the beauty of human connection. The artwork celebrates Omani culture and provides a platform for emerging national talents to showcase their skills to a global audience.

The artists’ creations were prominently featured across Oman Air’s digital platforms, coinciding with the introduction of the new aircraft. By integrating art and aviation, Oman Air not only celebrates creativity but also emphasizes the authenticity of Omani artistic heritage, while inspiring appreciation for culture and innovation among travelers worldwide.

Oman Air officially became the 15th member of the oneworld alliance in June 2025. Joining this global network has significantly enhanced the airline’s connectivity, enabling passengers to access an extensive range of destinations and benefit from improved travel experiences. The addition of the Boeing 737 further strengthens Oman Air’s capacity to serve international routes efficiently.

The arrival of the new aircraft reflects Oman Air’s vision to continuously modernize its fleet and enhance the passenger experience. By blending aviation with artistic expression, the airline showcases Oman’s commitment to cultural promotion alongside strategic growth in global air travel.

Oman Air’s initiative highlights a harmonious balance between technological advancement, international collaboration, and cultural celebration, reinforcing the airline’s role as a bridge between Oman and the wider world.
