A quick-thinking man in Sharjah has been praised by Sharjah Civil Defence for his brave actions during an emergency. He used his own vehicle to help put out a fire on a waste transport truck in one of the city's industrial areas.

Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence, personally presented the award to the man for his courage and quick response.

Instead of waiting for help, the man jumped into action. He used his crane to assist the firefighters in controlling the fire. His fast actions helped stop the fire from spreading and ensured no one got hurt.

Brigadier Al Shamsi commended the man, saying, “His bravery and public responsibility are exactly what we encourage. His actions played a big part in preventing further damage and keeping everyone safe.”

This recognition also shows Sharjah Civil Defence's commitment to working with the community and honoring those who step up in times of need.
