Palestinians Wounded in Jabalia Camp Gunfire

Gunfire Reported at Jabalia Refugee Camp

Several Palestinians were injured on Thursday after Israeli occupation vehicles and a drone reportedly opened fire on shelters and tents used by displaced people in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.The incident occurred as civilians remained in shelters amid the continuing conflict in the Gaza Strip. Reports of gunfire in the densely populated camp have raised further concerns about the safety of displaced Palestinian families seeking protection from the ongoing violence.

Airstrike Reported Near Kamal Adwan Hospital

Israeli warplanes also reportedly carried out an airstrike in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital within Jabalia camp, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA as cited by QNA.The reported strike adds to the pressure on northern Gaza’s already heavily affected civilian areas. Hospitals and medical facilities continue to play a critical role in treating people wounded during the conflict while facing difficult operating conditions.

Gaza Death Toll Continues to Rise

Palestinian medical sources said the reported death toll in the Gaza Strip had reached 73,669 since the beginning of the Israeli military offensive on October 7, 2023. The sources said the majority of those killed were women and children.The same sources reported that the number of injured had reached 174,652 since the conflict began. These figures were provided by Palestinian medical sources and reported by QNA.

Victims Remain Under Rubble

Medical sources also said that a number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble and in streets across the Gaza Strip. Seven Bodies Received by Gaza Hospitals

According to Palestinian medical sources, hospitals across the Gaza Strip received the bodies of seven people over the previous 24 hours. The reported fatalities included two newly identified deaths and another person who died from injuries sustained earlier.Medical teams also recovered the bodies of four people, while 25 injuries were reported during the same period. The figures underline the continuing impact of violence on Gaza’s civilian population.

Northern Gaza Remains Under Pressure

The reported injuries in Jabalia came amid continued military activity in northern Gaza.
