Hardik Pandya Commends Rising Star After Rajasthan's Win Over Mumbai

In an exhilarating IPL 2026 showdown, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi impressed everyone with a stellar performance for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians, scoring a blistering 39 runs off just 14 deliveries, including two sixes against renowned pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

Though his team faced defeat, Hardik Pandya shone through with sportsmanship. Post-match, the Mumbai Indians captain took the time to acknowledge Sooryavanshi's fearless batting style, commending his impressive shot-making.

The game was a run-fest, with Rajasthan Royals finishing strong at 150 for 3 in a rain-reduced 11 overs, spearheaded by Yashasvi Jaiswal's unbeaten 77, who forged a potent partnership with Sooryavanshi that laid a solid foundation in the early overs.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians struggled to chase down the target, ending at 123 for 9. With early wickets hampering their progress, the middle-order batsmen could only offer fleeting resistance as Rajasthan secured a well-deserved 27-run victory.
