Parkin Company PJSC, recognized as Dubai's foremost operator of paid public parking facilities, has established an operational agreement with retail giants Spinneys and Waitrose to introduce innovative parking solutions at six strategically chosen sites in Dubai.
As outlined in the agreement, Parkin will oversee the management and operation of the parking areas, utilizing its advanced technology and expertise to alleviate congestion while enhancing the parking experience for shoppers.
Under this initiative, customers will enjoy two hours of free parking, after which standard hourly rates will be applied. This strategy aims to ensure improved space availability and facilitate smoother traffic transitions, particularly at busy retail locations.
All six venues will be outfitted with Parkin's cutting-edge parking management systems, featuring automated entry and exit, alongside integrated enforcement measures. Additionally, these facilities will connect with the Parkin mobile app, enabling users to effortlessly manage their parking through their smartphones.
Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, noted that this partnership symbolizes the company's dedication to enhancing urban mobility and shopper convenience. He emphasized how the mix of free parking and innovative technology will offer a more streamlined shopping journey throughout Dubai.
Similarly, Sunil Kumar, CEO of Spinneys, remarked that this collaboration will greatly enhance access at some of the brand’s highest-traffic locations. He mentioned that the integration of Parkin's smart technology will simplify traffic management, making visits more user-friendly for clients.
This partnership is a notable advancement in Parkin’s goal to provide forward-thinking, customer-focused parking solutions, aligning with Dubai’s objectives for smarter and more sustainable urban transport systems.
