This Seven-Star Dragon Pokémon will make a limited-time appearance in raid dens, providing an excellent opportunity for players to showcase their skills and enhance their collections.
Goodra, originally introduced in Pokémon X and Y, is a pseudo-legendary Dragon-type from the Kalos region. Renowned for its impressive special defense and versatile offense, Goodra evolves from Sliggoo when leveled up in rainy weather. In Legends: Arceus, both Sliggoo and Goodra gained Hisuian forms, adding Steel as a secondary type.
This Dragon Pokémon's repertoire includes moves such as Dragon Pulse, Surf, Poison Tail, and Earthquake, showcasing its adaptability in battles. Its abilities—Sap Sipper, Gooey, and Hydration—challenge trainers, requiring strategic planning. Notably, Sap Sipper not only grants immunity to Grass-type moves but also boosts Goodra's attack power, compelling trainers to modify their tactics accordingly.
Scheduled for Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 PM Eastern, the Tera Raid event will continue until Sunday, November 23, 6:59 PM Eastern. For those who miss the initial round, a second chance exists from November 27 to 30. During this event, Goodra the Unrivaled will be available in its Water-type Tera form and will offer trainers the sought-after Mightiest Mark upon victory.
Despite Goodra's superior special defenses, its physical defense is relatively weak, allowing astute trainers to exploit this vulnerability once its abilities are neutralized. Moves like Gastro Acid or Skill Swap can effectively disable Goodra's defenses, paving the way for Pokémon such as Iron Hands or Serperior to inflict considerable damage and secure the win.
