In response to the escalating water crisis in Taiz, Yemen, Qatar Charity (QC) has activated an emergency project aimed at securing water access for residents.
This humanitarian effort serves approximately 13,500 individuals across three key districts: Al Mudaffar, Salh, and Al Qahira, all suffering from severe water shortages due to ongoing drought conditions.
A total of 108 water distribution points have been established, with 36 points allocated to each district, facilitating consistent access to clean drinking water for those impacted.
Taiz is facing one of Yemen's most critical water crises, particularly in elevated regions where disruptions to water supply can persist for months.
Countless families in the area find it increasingly challenging to secure safe drinking water, intensifying financial strain and physical hardship for already vulnerable populations.
Through this vital project, Qatar Charity seeks to alleviate the challenges faced by residents and enhance their access to essential water resources in the stricken districts.
