The State of Qatar participated in the joint ministerial meeting of the GCC-Canada Strategic Dialogue held in Manama, Bahrain, as Gulf nations and Canada explored ways to strengthen cooperation across a range of strategic sectors. The Qatari delegation was led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
Focus on Economic and Commercial Cooperation
During the meeting, ministers discussed opportunities to deepen economic and commercial partnerships between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Canada. Both sides highlighted the importance of expanding trade, encouraging investment and promoting cooperation in sectors that can contribute to sustainable economic growth.
