The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has officially opened its Academic Scholarship Programme for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year. This initiative aims to cultivate talented Emirati professionals in key areas related to advanced transport technologies.

Geared towards exceptional Emirati high school graduates and current university students, the scholarship provides pathways into various essential fields that align with Dubai's ambitious vision for a sustainable and smart transport environment.

Established in 2009, this program is integral to RTA's strategy for fostering local talent, ensuring students are well-equipped for future jobs in innovative sectors and transformational projects in the transport landscape.

As noted by RTA, this program supports Dubai’s aspirations to empower the youth of the UAE, preparing them for pivotal roles in digital progress and next-generation mobility solutions.

The scholarship encompasses a diverse array of specialized disciplines, such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, autonomous vehicles, road engineering, smart traffic management, city planning, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

RTA aims to attract and nurture skilled individuals to contribute to the strategic planning and innovative efforts within the transport sector, bolstering Dubai's status as a premier hub for sustainable mobility solutions.
