George Russell Wins Singapore Grand Prix 2025 F1 Race

British Formula 1 driver George Russell achieved a remarkable victory at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, the 18th round of the F1 World Championship. This win is Russell’s first-ever triumph in Singapore and demonstrates his growing dominance in the championship this season.

Race Results and Timings

Russell finished the race in a time of 1:40:22.367. He crossed the line 5.430 minutes ahead of Dutch driver Max Verstappen, who finished second. Fellow Briton Lando Norris secured third place, trailing Russell by 6.066 minutes. Australian Oscar Piastri came in fourth, 8.146 minutes behind, while Italian Andrea Antonelli rounded out the top five positions.

Second Win of the Season

This victory is Russell’s second of the 2025 season, following his earlier win at the Canadian Grand Prix. The Singapore win underscores his skill on street circuits and adds crucial points to his overall championship tally, reinforcing his position among the top drivers of the season.

Championship Standings

Following the Singapore Grand Prix, Australian Oscar Piastri continues to lead the F1 World Championship standings with 336 points. Lando Norris remains in second place with 314 points, while Max Verstappen holds third with 273 points. George Russell is now in fourth place with 237 points, and Charles Leclerc is fifth with 173 points.
