Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) has announced that it will participate in the Paris Air Show 2025, taking place from June 16 to 22. This move shows the company’s growing role in the global defense and aerospace industries.

SAMI will use this event to strengthen its global partnerships in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector. The company, through its different business units and subsidiaries, helps maintain and repair both military and private aircraft, including their landing gear systems.

At the event, SAMI will meet with leading aircraft manufacturers from around the world to discuss possible partnerships. They aim to find the best technical services and solutions for their clients in both Saudi Arabia’s civil and defense sectors. SAMI also hopes to boost knowledge sharing and bring more aviation and aerospace technology into the Kingdom. This supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on innovation and growth within the country.

SAMI’s CEO, Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, spoke about the importance of attending the event. He said, “Being at this world-class exhibition with top aerospace leaders shows how important this sector is to SAMI. We aim to build strong international partnerships, support innovation, and grow together. This event also allows us to explore new air defense technologies and connect with major players in the industry. SAMI remains a reliable partner for defense growth in Saudi Arabia.”

As the Kingdom’s top national defense company, SAMI’s presence at the Paris Air Show shows its commitment to Vision 2030. This includes the goal of localizing 50% of Saudi Arabia’s defense spending. The company also plays a key role in the Kingdom’s defense progress, supporting innovation, developing local talent, and building Saudi Arabia’s reputation globally.

The Paris Air Show is the biggest and most important aerospace event in the world. The 2025 edition will feature over 2,500 exhibitors from 48 countries. It offers a chance to see the latest innovations, watch flight demos, and build strong connections in the aviation and aerospace industries.
