UAE–US Boost Energy, AI Ties in Washington Talks

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Doug Burgum, US Secretary of the Interior, during his working visit to Washington.

The meeting focused on the strong and long-standing strategic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across different sectors in line with the shared interests of the two friendly nations.

During the talks, the two leaders reviewed opportunities to expand joint work in energy and artificial intelligence. They also explored ways to develop partnerships in these fast-growing sectors and open new markets to support sustainable economic growth in both countries.

Sheikh Abdullah said that UAE–US relations are built on strong foundations of mutual trust and constructive partnership. He highlighted that the historic relationship between the two countries stands as a successful model of fruitful cooperation across various fields.

Saeed Al Hajeri, UAE Minister of State, and Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States also attended the meeting.
