Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently met with Louis Ferla to discuss collaboration opportunities within the UAE’s luxury retail and jewellery sectors.

The dialogue aimed to reinforce ties between international luxury brands and the UAE, and to underscore Dubai’s conducive business climate that continues attracting global entities seeking to grow in the region.

Key topics included the evolution of luxury retail, emphasizing the need for innovation, design, and enhanced consumer experiences. Both parties acknowledged shifting consumer trends and the necessity for integrated shopping experiences that align with global standards.

Dubai’s stature as a premier destination for luxury shopping was a focal point, showcasing the emirate's robust infrastructure, thriving tourism sector, adaptable business regulations, and a top-tier commercial environment that bolsters growth in the luxury marketplace.

The discussions reflected the UAE's economic model, which prioritizes partnerships where the private sector significantly contributes to investment and economic progress.
