H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, met with Jun Imanishi, the Consul-General of Japan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, alongside a delegation from the Japanese Business Council at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The focus of the meeting was on enhancing bilateral economic ties and identifying investment avenues in the emirate.

The Ruler welcomed the delegation warmly, discussing initiatives to boost cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Japanese enterprises. He lauded the Japanese Business Council for fostering the presence of Japanese businesses in both Ras Al Khaimah and the broader UAE landscape, underscoring the emirate's potential as a prime location for firms looking to grow both regionally and globally.

Sheikh Saud asserted that Ras Al Khaimah pursues an ambitious economic strategy that emphasizes openness to international markets, which aims to attract investment and forge international partnerships. The emirate aspires to create a competitive framework for enterprises and entrepreneurs, offering enticing opportunities in key sectors, thus supporting sustainable progress.

He pointed out the pivotal role of the private sector in promoting trade and investment partnerships and praised the Japanese Business Council for their efforts in facilitating dialogue between investors and governmental bodies, enabling effective platforms for knowledge sharing, and encouraging joint ventures.

Jun Imanishi and the Japanese Business Council members expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Saud for his generous welcome and support. They acknowledged his dedication to amplifying economic relations between Japan and Ras Al Khaimah, recognizing the emirate’s superior services, amenities, and investment-friendly atmosphere.

The delegation acknowledged the swift economic advances of the emirate, along with its sophisticated infrastructure and urban developments. They confirmed that Ras Al Khaimah is becoming a favored choice for companies targeting regional growth, courtesy of its competitive business landscape and strategic placement.

This meeting illustrates Ras Al Khaimah’s steadfast resolve in broadening international cooperation and attracting essential investment. By reinforcing partnerships with nations like Japan, the emirate continues to bolster its status as a global business hub while fostering sustainable economic evolution and private sector advancement.
