Post by : Bianca Haleem

In a significant step to enhance international healthcare ties, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan officially opened the UAE-Indonesia Hospital for Cardiac Diseases. The event featured His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, highlighting the strengthening relations between the two countries.

This advanced facility is part of the UAE Global Hospitals Programme, falling under the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative, and marks the first of ten planned specialty hospitals globally. It integrates modern medical technologies with eco-friendly practices, aiming to revolutionize patient care standards. Inside, visitors will discover advanced cardiac treatment options, alongside sustainable innovations like solar energy, rainwater reuse, and environmentally conscious materials.

The hospital advocates for a comprehensive approach to health, marrying top-quality treatment with ecological responsibility. Its design focuses on creating a comforting patient environment, operational efficiency, and community well-being, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to a humanitarian legacy on a worldwide scale.

This inauguration highlights the UAE’s enduring pledge to global collaboration in healthcare, delivering specialized cardiac services while fostering sustainable and socially responsible medical practices.
