Dubai: In a strategic meeting, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, convened with pivotal figures from the cultural and creative realms to enhance resilience and future preparedness within the industry.
The gathering, themed ‘Creative Sector Resilience’, collaborated with the Dubai Future Foundation and unfolded at the Etihad Museum. It welcomed a variety of participants, including cultural and heritage institutions, creative organizations, event leaders, and service facilitators.
During the workshop, Sheikha Latifa underscored the significance of unity and adaptability in driving sustainable growth. She noted that Dubai’s creative sector has consistently demonstrated strength through innovation, collaboration, and a forward-thinking approach, even amid challenges.
She emphasized that the emirate’s leadership remains committed to prioritizing its people and advancing stability while safeguarding existing achievements and investing in future endeavors. She further asserted the need for unified efforts and confidence to support a thriving and dynamic creative ecosystem.
This meeting is part of ongoing efforts by Dubai Culture to ensure continuity and readiness of the sector, focusing on navigating current challenges, identifying common goals, and uncovering opportunities through structured collaboration.

Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, noted that agility is integral to Dubai's cultural strategy. She highlighted the necessity of establishing innovative frameworks and actionable strategies that bolster sector readiness and overall performance.
Badri mentioned that the workshop's aim is to convert discussions into tangible measures that empower creative talents and support long-term growth through meaningful initiatives.
Additionally, Khalfan Belhoul pointed out the essential nature of leadership support in motivating creators and innovators. He stressed the importance of stakeholder collaboration to prepare for forthcoming changes, especially as technology continues to transform industries and create new opportunities.
