In an impressive display, the Phoenix Suns concluded the Golden State Warriors' season with a commanding 111-96 win during the NBA play-in tournament, ensuring their entry into the Western Conference playoffs.

This victory allowed the Suns to clinch the eighth seed, setting the stage for a first-round showdown with the defending champions, Oklahoma City Thunder, scheduled for Sunday.

Jalen Green shone brightly in this game, scoring an impressive 36 points with efficient shooting, nailing 14 of his 20 attempts, including eight from beyond the arc. His stellar performance was pivotal in maintaining Phoenix's control throughout the match.

Devin Booker supported with 20 points, effectively guiding the offense, while Jordan Goodwin added 19 points, nine rebounds, and six steals, making significant contributions on both sides of the ball.

On the Warriors' side, Stephen Curry encountered challenges, finishing the game with 17 points but struggling with a 4-of-16 shooting performance, as the Suns' defense restricted his opportunities effectively. Brandin Podziemski was the leading scorer for the Warriors with 23 points.

The Suns maintained the upper hand for the majority of the game, leading by five at halftime and building their advantage in the third quarter. Even though the Warriors attempted to rally in the final period, Phoenix quickly responded, safeguarding their lead to secure the win.

Tensions flared towards the end, with both Booker and Draymond Green being ejected after a heated exchange in the fourth quarter.

This victory held personal significance for Jalen Green, who faced challenges against the Warriors in last year's playoffs while with the Houston Rockets. His noteworthy performance in this encounter highlighted his development and confidence during a critical juncture.

Looking ahead, the Suns are set to carry this momentum into their upcoming playoff battle against a formidable Thunder team, while the Warriors’ season concludes on a disappointing note for the experienced squad.
