Infant Found Unresponsive in Toronto Car Passes Away

A heartbreaking event unfolded in Toronto when a baby was discovered unresponsive in a car on Monday afternoon. This incident occurred in the eastern part of the city, close to the intersection of Queen Street East and Pape Avenue.

The Toronto Police Service reported that a distress call was made at around 4:45 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency services. Officers, firefighters, and paramedics rushed to the location to assist the child.

The infant was quickly transported via ambulance to a local hospital, where medical professionals continued the emergency care. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the baby was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Authorities have characterized the incident as profoundly tragic.

Duty Inspector Scott Bradbury addressed the media at the scene, confirming the death and noting that the child’s parents were at the hospital during this harrowing time. Further details on the circumstances leading to this event remain undisclosed.

An investigation is underway, with authorities focusing on determining the events that led to this unfortunate outcome. No additional information has yet been provided to the public.
