A heartbreaking event unfolded in Toronto when a baby was discovered unresponsive in a car on Monday afternoon. This incident occurred in the eastern part of the city, close to the intersection of Queen Street East and Pape Avenue.

The Toronto Police Service reported that a distress call was made at around 4:45 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency services. Officers, firefighters, and paramedics rushed to the location to assist the child.

The infant was quickly transported via ambulance to a local hospital, where medical professionals continued the emergency care. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the baby was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Authorities have characterized the incident as profoundly tragic.
