TRENDS Launches AI Strategy to Boost Global Leadership

Post by : Shakul

TRENDS Group has unveiled a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence strategy aimed at strengthening its position as a leading regional and global research and advisory institution. The strategy was approved during the second meeting of the Group’s Board of Directors and will be implemented across all five companies operating under the TRENDS umbrella.

The new initiative aligns with the UAE’s national vision for technological advancement and supports the objectives of the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. The move reflects the growing importance of AI in shaping the future of research, knowledge production and institutional development.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized that artificial intelligence has become a fundamental component of modern knowledge systems. He noted that AI is no longer an optional tool but a key driver of institutional competitiveness and innovation across sectors.

According to the Board, the strategy is designed to create a significant transformation in the Group’s research capabilities. By integrating advanced AI technologies into its operations, TRENDS aims to enhance the quality of its studies, improve forecasting capabilities and expand its global influence in the knowledge sector.

The strategy is built around five major pillars. These include forecasting and future studies, testing and opinion polling, capacity building and training, strategic international partnerships, and data governance with a strong focus on research quality assurance.

Officials stated that the adoption of AI-powered tools will enable the organization to process data more efficiently, generate deeper insights and support evidence-based decision-making. The initiative is also expected to strengthen collaboration with international institutions and technology partners.

The launch of the strategy marks another step in the UAE’s broader efforts to position itself as a global leader in artificial intelligence and innovation. Through this initiative, TRENDS seeks to contribute to knowledge development while enhancing professional, objective and forward-looking research practices.
