UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation with Lebanese President His Excellency Joseph Aoun on Saturday to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
During the call, the two leaders reviewed opportunities to enhance collaboration in areas that serve the shared interests of the UAE and Lebanon while contributing to the prosperity and wellbeing of their peoples.
The conversation also focused on the latest developments in Lebanon. Both leaders discussed ongoing efforts aimed at reinforcing Lebanon’s security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
President Joseph Aoun expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the UAE’s continued support for Lebanon and its people. He also wished the UAE continued progress, growth, and prosperity.
In addition, the two presidents reviewed several regional issues of mutual interest, with particular attention to the latest developments in the Middle East. They stressed the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen regional security and stability while advancing peace to support the development and prosperity of countries and their peoples.
