Strengthening Economic Ties: UAE and Serbia Collaboration

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, engaged in a phone conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to explore avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation across several vital sectors.

The dialogue focused on fortifying bilateral relations while delving into opportunities for collaboration in the fields of economy, renewable energy, investment, and development. Both leaders underscored the significance of forging lasting partnerships aimed at fostering sustainable growth for both nations.

Sheikh Mohamed and President Vučić reiterated their dedication to advancing UAE-Serbia ties through long-term economic collaboration. They pointed out the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) as a pivotal framework for elevating trade, investment, and economic expansion, ultimately contributing to mutual prosperity.

In addition, the leaders exchanged perspectives on a range of regional and international matters of common interest, including the latest shifts in the Middle East and their implications for regional stability.

Both parties emphasized the need for dialogue, cooperation, and collaborative efforts to tackle regional challenges while championing peace, security, and economic advancement.

This phone call exemplifies the robust and evolving relationship between the UAE and Serbia, with both nations committed to broadening cooperation in strategic sectors and reinforcing their economic ties for the benefit of their citizens.
