UAE Leaders Extend Condolences Following Abdullah Al Attiyah's Passing

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has expressed his deepest condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, following the death of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah. Al Attiyah was a significant figure in Qatar’s political landscape, having served as the nation's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry.

Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his sympathies to the Emir, the Al Attiyah family, and the Qatari people, offering prayers for peace for the departed and strength for the bereaved during this challenging time.

Abdullah Al Attiyah made paramount contributions to Qatar’s development, especially within the energy sector, and was instrumental in establishing the country as a top player in the global energy arena.

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, likewise sent a message of condolence to Sheikh Tamim, sharing his sorrow over the loss.

Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed his grief to the Qatari Emir and provided support to the family of the departed.

These condolences highlight the enduring bond between the UAE and Qatar, reflecting mutual respect for leaders who have contributed to the region's growth and prosperity.

The death of Abdullah Al Attiyah represents the loss of an influential leader, whose impact resonated across the energy sector and beyond, leaving a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.
