UAE Leadership Expresses Condolences to Qatar's Emir on Abdullah Al Attiyah's Passing

Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the United Arab Emirates have conveyed heartfelt messages of condolence to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, following the death of Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who previously held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry in Qatar.

In their messages, they expressed deep sympathy and offered their support to the Emir, the Al Attiyah family, as well as the people of Qatar during this somber period.

Condolences came from figures including His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman; His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

Additionally, the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the UAE also conveyed their sympathies to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, acknowledging the profound loss of the esteemed Qatari leader.

Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah was a revered figure in Qatar, significantly contributing to the country’s industrial and energy sectors during his tenure in government. His influence elevated Qatar’s standing in the global energy landscape.

The expressions of condolence illustrate the deep-rooted ties and flourishing relations between the UAE and Qatar, highlighting a collective respect for leaders who have made notable contributions to the Gulf region's advancement.
