Abu Dhabi: As the countdown to 2026 begins, UAE leaders have expressed their sincere New Year greetings, emphasizing themes of hope, harmony, and continuous national progress.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan delivered his message through social media, encouraging citizens and residents to approach the new year with renewed energy. He highlighted the significance of fostering unity, growth, and well-being for all. Sheikh Mohamed remarked,
"Warmest wishes for the New Year. As we unite in celebration, let us enter the year with hope and determination in our ongoing efforts to nurture unity, development, and overall prosperity."
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, also shared his aspirations for a year defined by stability, security, and national progress. On his X (formerly Twitter) account, Sheikh Mohammed conveyed:
"Wishing the UAE a joyful and thriving New Year, one filled with stability, security, and lasting advancement. May the world experience peace, and may everyone find joy, success, and achievements in the year to come."
He further expressed his optimism for the future, stating,
"We face the new year with positive expectations, assured that it will be our best yet—one marked by real accomplishments, economic success, enhanced international partnerships, and prosperity for our citizens."
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, also conveyed his sincere New Year wishes. Reflecting on both personal and national aspirations, he prayed for blessings and tranquility. He stated,
"Building on our accomplishments, we are poised to create a brighter future for generations ahead. Our values and unity remain our pride, and with limitless ambitions, we continue to lead and craft our future."
As the UAE welcomes 2026, the unified message from its leadership calls for a shared commitment to a successful, stable, and harmonious year, reinforcing the nation's vision for sustained growth and achievement.
