UAE and Lebanon Leaders Address Security and Cooperation

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in a telephone conversation with Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun, where they deliberated on matters concerning regional security, bilateral relations, and ongoing initiatives to promote stability in the Middle East.

President Aoun reiterated Lebanon's condemnation of Iranian assaults aimed at civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, expressing solidarity and support for UAE measures to safeguard its security, sovereignty, territory, and citizens.

The discussion highlighted the robust fraternal ties between the UAE and Lebanon, exploring avenues to strengthen collaboration in various sectors to foster development and prosperity for both nations.

Furthermore, the dialogue touched upon the latest updates in Lebanon and initiatives aimed at bolstering security and stability nationwide. President Aoun commended the UAE for its ongoing support of Lebanon's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the aspirations of the Lebanese people for lasting peace, security, and stability.

Both leaders exchanged perspectives on recent regional developments, underscoring the significance of reinforcing peace efforts and enhancing security and stability across the region for the benefit of all its inhabitants.
