During his visit to the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates 2026 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The UAE President assessed cutting-edge industrial innovations and national initiatives aimed at bolstering the UAE’s competitive edge in the industrial landscape. The exhibition featured numerous products and initiatives geared towards enhancing domestic manufacturing and embracing future industries across key sectors.
Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed received insights from exhibitors about essential projects and initiatives introduced at the event. These highlighted endeavors aim to boost industrial growth, foster innovation, and integrate advanced technology within production processes.
He emphasized that the industrial sector is vital for the UAE's economy and is crucial for further economic diversification. Strengthening local industries remains a strategic priority as the UAE seeks to cultivate an environment conducive to investment and innovation in industrial growth.
Moreover, Sheikh Mohamed underscored the necessity of creating new avenues for Emirati talent while supporting national skills in high-tech and advanced industry sectors.
Praising the substantial turnout at the event, the President acknowledged it as a sign of the UAE’s swift progress and increasing competitiveness in the global industrial arena.
Accompanying Sheikh Mohamed were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, along with a number of ministers and senior officials.
