The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has achieved a major academic milestone by ranking first in the UAE in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026. The university shares this top national position with Khalifa University and Abu Dhabi University, underlining its position as a leading academic and research institution in the country.

UAEU has also been placed in the 201–250 category globally, reflecting its growing influence and reputation on the international academic stage. This achievement highlights the university’s commitment to delivering world-class education and advancing research with global impact.

Chancellor’s Statement

Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to the UAE President and Chancellor of UAEU, stated that this ranking reflects the university’s sustainable approach to developing its academic and research environment.
