Windsor Teen's Stabbing Death Prompts Arrest

The tragic death of a 16-year-old boy in Windsor has been marked by a fatal stabbing, prompting police to swiftly apprehend a suspect. The case is currently classified as a homicide, stirring concern among residents as investigations continue.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on McDougall Avenue just before 6 p.m. on Sunday after reports of an armed individual. Upon arrival, they discovered the teenager with severe stab wounds. Despite quick medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

Quick action by law enforcement led to the capture of a suspect in the 1500 block of Goyeau Street, not far from the original incident site. Details regarding the suspect's identity and the context of the stabbing remain undisclosed.

Investigative efforts are focused on uncovering the circumstances surrounding the stabbing, including any prior relationship between the victim and the alleged assailant. Police secured the area for forensic examination and are interviewing witnesses.
