The National Earthquake Monitoring Centre confirmed the quake occurred at 1:08 AM, with its epicentre located near Dantola in Bajhang district, about 475 km from Kathmandu. Fortunately, there have been no reports of damage or injuries following the quake.
Residents in Bajhang, along with those in adjoining districts such as Bajura, Baitadi, and Darchula, reported experiencing the shaking, with some choosing to evacuate their homes temporarily.
