The Abu Dhabi EMS Conference 2025 recently wrapped up, uniting top emergency medical professionals, specialists, and innovators from around the world. This three-day event acted as an active forum to exhibit best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and improvements in ambulance services.

A meaningful closing ceremony witnessed Brigadier Salem Abdullah bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, honoring paramedics and teams for their remarkable efforts. Awards were presented to paramedics involved in exemplary CPR operations, those achieving peak response times in 2025, and individuals excelling in specialized tasks and emergency preparedness.

The event was also a celebration of global cooperation and scientific advancement. Speakers, the Scientific Committee, trainers, and judges of the Ambulance Challenge received acknowledgments for their contributions in leading innovation and excellence.

A key highlight was the debut of the Ambulance Challenge in the MENA region, where 12 international teams showcased their emergency response skills. The UAE National Ambulance team triumphed, with teams from Australia and Qatar following closely behind, marking progress in regional EMS training and collaboration.

Col Dr Maitha Mohammed Al Darei, Director of the Ambulance Department and Chair of the Scientific Committee, underscored the conference's impact on knowledge exchange, adoption of AI and modern technologies, and standardizing protocols to enhance the quality of emergency care. Emphasis was placed on the well-being of frontline workers, coordinated response entities, and cultivating national talents to bolster Abu Dhabi's stature in global ambulance and emergency services.

The conference closed with a robust commitment to innovation, international collaboration, and life-saving excellence, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s vision of more efficient emergency medical services.
