Abu Dhabi is set to open the Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA) on 1 November 2025. Spanning 65,000 square metres on Jubail Island, ADREA aims to become the region’s leading hub for classical horsemanship. The centre will combine European equestrian traditions with Emirati cultural heritage, offering a unique experience for horse enthusiasts.
Grand Gala to Mark the Opening
The launch will feature a two-day gala on 1-2 November, inviting the public to witness an exceptional showcase of equestrian skills. The event will bring together the world’s most famous classical riding schools on one stage, presenting a historic opportunity to experience equestrian artistry up close.
International Equestrian Schools to Participate
Visitors will see performances from the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, known for its Lipizzaner stallions; the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Arts, famous for Andalusian dancing horses; the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, showcasing Lusitano horses; and France’s Cadre Noir De Saumur, blending high-level horsemanship with performing arts. ADREA will also debut its own ensemble, integrating UAE culture with classical equestrian traditions.
Immersive Cultural and Learning Experience
The gala offers more than just performances. Guests will access ADREA’s all-equestrian library with rare and original works, attend interactive talks, and enjoy bespoke food and beverage offerings.
