The ADNEC Group has officially announced that it is getting ready to host the 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). The 2025 edition of this event is expected to be the largest and most diverse since the exhibition began. It will take place from 30th August to 7th September 2025, at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
A Prestigious Event Under Royal Patronage
This important exhibition is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and also the Chairman of the Emirates Falconers Club. His support highlights the importance of preserving the traditions of the UAE, especially those related to hunting and equestrian activities.
Organisers and Partners Working Together
The event is organised by the ADNEC Group in close partnership with the Emirates Falconers Club. ADIHEX is well known in the region for celebrating the deep traditions of the UAE, especially in falconry, horse riding, and hunting. This event has been taking place for over twenty years, helping to preserve cultural values and pass them on to younger generations.
Biggest Exhibition in Middle East and North Africa
ADIHEX is not just popular in the UAE—it is the largest event of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa. It attracts visitors, businesses, and heritage lovers from many countries. The exhibition brings together people who are passionate about traditional sports and cultural history.
Success of ADIHEX 2024 Sets High Expectations
The 2024 edition of ADIHEX was a huge success. It welcomed over 350,000 visitors and hosted more than 1,700 companies and brands. With this success in mind, the organisers are expecting the 2025 edition to be even bigger, with growth in the number of visitors, exhibitors, and activities.
A Platform for Heritage and Future Generations
Majid Ali Al Mansouri, the Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers Club, spoke about the importance of ADIHEX. He said that the exhibition has become the most important platform in the UAE for preserving Emirati and Arab cultural heritage. With strong backing from the UAE leadership, this event is helping ensure that traditional practices are not forgotten.
Cultural Pride and Global Connections
Al Mansouri thanked the country’s leaders for their strong and continuous support. He pointed out that their encouragement helps keep alive the traditions of falconry and equestrian sports. He also highlighted how the exhibition builds cultural cooperation between nations, in line with the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who deeply valued the UAE’s heritage.
ADNEC Group Committed to Excellence
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, the Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, said that the group is working hard to deliver an excellent experience for visitors and exhibitors alike. They are partnering with the Emirates Falconers Club and both government and private entities to make the 2025 edition truly special.
New Activities to Excite Visitors
Al Dhaheri announced that there will be many new events and activities added this year. One of the highlights will be the introduction of multi-stage falcon auctions, which will be held before and during the exhibition. The first auction is scheduled for 16th-17th August 2025 at the same venue.
Promoting the Event Globally
The ADNEC team has already started promoting ADIHEX internationally. They have taken part in several major exhibitions around the world, aiming to attract big companies and raise awareness about the event’s significance. This is helping to boost Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a centre for cultural events.
Helping Local Industries and Crafts
Besides promoting tradition, ADIHEX also plays a big role in supporting UAE-based industries. It gives local businesses, especially handicrafts and small enterprises, a chance to present their products to new markets at home and abroad. This helps the economy and also keeps traditional skills alive.
A Global Platform for Cooperation
The exhibition is also a great place for local and international companies to meet and form new partnerships. ADIHEX allows them to showcase the latest equipment and technologies used in the hunting, falconry, and equestrian industries. This exchange of knowledge supports growth and innovation in these fields.
Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future
Overall, ADIHEX is not just an exhibition—it is a celebration of history, culture, and pride. It brings together the past and the future, showing how traditions can remain strong even as times change. The 2025 edition will highlight the UAE’s role as a global leader in cultural preservation.
A Strong Message to the World
By hosting such a grand and meaningful event, the UAE is sending a clear message to the world: that it values its unique cultural identity, and it is ready to share it with people from all walks of life. Through events like ADIHEX, the country is building bridges of understanding and respect among different cultures.
The 22nd edition of ADIHEX promises to be the most exciting and meaningful event yet, with new features, global participation, and a deep focus on preserving heritage. Thanks to the dedication of organisers, the support of leaders, and the passion of participants, this exhibition is set to make Abu Dhabi a central hub for cultural exchange and traditional knowledge in 2025 and beyond.
