Abu Dhabi’s Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) has marked a significant milestone with a two-day mission in Singapore, concluding agreements for seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading construction, engineering, and architectural companies. These pacts aim to accelerate innovation, smart city strategies, and modular construction within the Emirate’s robust US$54 billion infrastructure pipeline.
The delegation was spearheaded by ADPIC Director General Engineer Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid and included key officials from the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), alongside prominent developers such as Aldar, Modon, Bloom Holding, and LEAD Development. They consulted with Singaporean leaders in prefabricated construction, digital twins, eco-friendly infrastructure, and contemporary project management approaches.
The signed MoUs include partnerships with BCA International, Surbana Jurong, Meinhardt Group, Singapore Institute of Architects, CPG Corporation, TOM Singapore, and RSP Architects. These collaborations aim to cultivate knowledge-sharing, sustainability standards, and innovative project delivery in Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure initiatives.
This visit featured high-level discussions, project showcases, and site inspections of the Surbana Jurong Campus and Teambuild ICPH modular construction facilities. Abu Dhabi developers presented potential projects in mixed-use developments, residential neighborhoods, and integrated urban areas, while their Singaporean counterparts highlighted advanced construction methodologies and smart city planning tactics.
This mission is part of ADPIC’s overarching international strategy, following the inaugural Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit in June 2025, which attracted over 4,100 attendees from more than 100 countries, showcasing Abu Dhabi’s intent to embrace global best practices in crafting resilient, sustainable, and digitally advanced urban landscapes.
The initiative also highlighted Singapore's standing as a center for smart city innovations and Abu Dhabi’s dedication to weaving global insights into its infrastructure blueprint. With these MoUs, Abu Dhabi is set to expedite projects that fuse technology, sustainability, and innovative delivery methods, transforming the future urban environment of the Emirate.
