Meraas Secures AED 340m Contract for Development of Riwa at MJL

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Meraas, a key player in Dubai Holding Real Estate, has taken a pivotal step in enhancing Madinat Jumeirah Living by awarding a AED 340 million construction contract to Al Sahel Contracting. This agreement focuses on the construction of Riwa, a new residential complex in the community, anticipated to be completed by Q3 2027.

Riwa will consist of three 10-storey buildings, offering a total of 244 upscale apartments. The selection includes one- to three-bedroom units and a single four-bedroom penthouse, all designed to provide bright interiors and modern, sophisticated layouts.

This project further strengthens the collaboration between Meraas and Al Sahel Contracting, who have been instrumental in executing several phases of Madinat Jumeirah Living. With four phases already delivered and a fifth close to completion, this partnership continues to foster the area's ongoing development.

Riwa will adhere to the modern-heritage architectural style of the neighborhood, featuring clean lines and graceful facades. Residents can enjoy landscaped gardens, fitness centers, swimming pools, and dedicated play areas, promoting walkable living through a network of pedestrian pathways that connect seamlessly to the larger community.

Nestled in the heart of Jumeirah, the development is just minutes from Jumeirah Beach and prominent landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab. Its strategic location offers quick access to Umm Suqeim, Al Wasl, Jumeirah Road, and Sheikh Zayed Road, providing excellent connectivity to business centers like Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City.

With construction now underway, Riwa is poised to emerge as a prominent new address within one of Dubai’s most desirable districts, combining peaceful community living with convenient access.
