Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), welcomed Shakir Shayakhmetov, Deputy Head of Court Administration at the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan. This official meeting aimed to strengthen judicial ties and share knowledge on digital transformation, AI, and information security frameworks. It underscores the UAE's resolve in fostering global collaboration for modern judicial systems.

Throughout the visit, the ADJD showcased its projects aimed at refining the digital legal landscape. Highlights included intelligent systems that facilitate case management, advanced document-analysis tools, and remote hearing technologies. These advancements aim to bolster the effectiveness of judicial processes, enabling quicker and more precise case resolutions while upholding justice quality for the public.

The department also spotlighted its sophisticated data-protection and security mechanisms, which safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of judicial processes, protecting sensitive data and the integrity of courtroom functions. Shayakhmetov acknowledged these initiatives, remarking that Abu Dhabi's judicial framework sets a benchmark in the region for implementing technology alongside transparent procedures.

Al Abri affirmed ADJD’s commitment to fostering productive international partnerships with judicial entities globally. This strategy resonates with the UAE leadership's vision of cultivating an adaptable and progressive judicial landscape. Digital innovation is foundational in enhancing service delivery, allowing Abu Dhabi courts to ensure swift, trustworthy, and accessible justice.

By hosting the Kazakh contingent, ADJD illustrated the incorporation of AI into its workflows. AI-driven technologies facilitate case management, automate decision-making, and lessen administrative loads, contributing to improved efficiency, timely hearings, and enhanced public access to judicial services.

Shayakhmetov commended Abu Dhabi's ongoing enhancement of its judicial framework, emphasizing its notable digital projects in case management, virtual hearings, and security systems, which he described as exemplary for adjacent nations. The visit reinforced the value of sharing knowledge and best practices in the realm of judicial innovation.

The delegation toured various ADJD sections and courts, examining smart workflows, electronic case registration systems, and automation practices. They were also briefed on integrated customer support centers and digital platforms that facilitate easy access to judicial services. This tour showcased operational models that merge innovation, technology, and efficiency to improve the judicial experience for all involved.

Through initiatives like this, ADJD continuously positions Abu Dhabi as a frontrunner in judicial modernization. By implementing digital solutions, AI advancements, and robust security measures, the department guarantees transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in justice delivery, while promoting international collaboration within the legal sector.
