Introducing AlDeraa: Calidus' Innovative Response to Drone Threats

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Calidus Holding Group has unveiled the transformational AlDeraa, an advanced short-range air defence system aimed at neutralizing the growing risks from unmanned aerial vehicles, including drones and kamikaze munitions.

Designed for both rapid deployment on mobile and stationary bases, AlDeraa adapts to various operational scenarios. Its construction prioritizes readiness, dependability, and quick reactions, safeguarding essential assets in challenging combat environments.

Featuring high-tech sensors, the AlDeraa integrates with C2 (Command and Control) and C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) solutions. This modular design enables the formation of multi-layered tactical air defence networks, improving threat detection, tracking, and neutralization.

AlDeraa effectively counters asymmetric threats by engaging low-cost, easily accessible drones and loitering munitions. With dual capabilities for soft-kill and hard-kill strategies, it allows for precise threat classification and agile responses to multiple targets, including swarms.

The AlDeraa system showcases a practical and innovative approach to short-range air defence, merging operational competency with tactical adaptability. Its implementation ensures the protection of ground forces and critical infrastructure from evolving aerial threats while being lightweight, customizable, and logistically efficient.
