Dubai, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, has officially appointed Amna Hamood Obaid Al Suwaidi as the Chief Executive Officer of the Future Resources Sector at the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.
This key decision was made through Executive Council Resolution No. (91) of 2025, effective immediately. The resolution will also be published formally in the Official Gazette, solidifying her leadership appointment.
In her new role, Amna Al Suwaidi is tasked with shaping the Future Resources Sector by leading initiatives for talent development, workforce planning, and innovative human resource strategies tailored for Dubai's government entities. This appointment highlights the city’s commitment to establishing a progressive workforce aligned with its long-term vision for smart governance and growth driven by innovation.
The move underscores Dubai’s intent to shore up leadership across its public sectors, ensuring that initiatives are directed by seasoned professionals capable of responding to the ever-evolving public sector needs and global benchmarks.
