According to booking information available through the airline’s website and travel portals, the new Amritsar-Abu Dhabi direct service will operate three days a week. The scheduled operating days are Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, giving passengers additional options for planning trips between Amritsar and Abu Dhabi.
The direct flight will depart from Amritsar at 8:40 pm and is scheduled to arrive in Abu Dhabi at 11:50 pm on the same day. The flight duration from Amritsar to Abu Dhabi will be approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes, providing a direct alternative to journeys involving connecting flights.
The new service is expected to benefit passengers from Amritsar and other parts of Punjab who travel regularly to the UAE. Direct connectivity can make international travel simpler by reducing the need for passengers to change flights at another airport before reaching Abu Dhabi.
The introduction of the route adds another travel option for passengers flying between northern India and the UAE. Abu Dhabi is an important international aviation and business hub, while Punjab has a large number of passengers travelling to the Gulf region for employment, business, family and tourism.
Passengers planning to use the new service should check the latest schedule, fares, baggage rules and availability through Air India Express or authorised booking platforms before making travel arrangements. Flight timings and operating schedules can change, so travellers should confirm the details close to their journey date.
The new direct connection is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Punjab and the UAE. Starting October 29, the three-times-weekly service will provide travellers with a more convenient option for reaching Abu Dhabi directly from Amritsar, further expanding international travel choices from Punjab.
